- Guided Tours available: Yes - Guided nature walks during July / August (2-3 hours). Self-guiding trails.
- Language Guides available: Leaflet / Guide Booklet: English, Irish, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. Brochure translation of Exhibition in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Irish (for use during visit only).
- Disabled Access: Yes - to Visitor Centre. Also, toilet for visitors with disabilities.
- Audio Visual Presentation: Yes - "Man and the Landscape". Seating for 50 people; duration of 15 mins. Languages: English, Irish, French, German & Italian.
- Opening Times: March-May: 10.00-17.30 (Daily). June-August: 09.30-18.30; September-October: 10.00-17.30. Last admission 45 mins. before closing.
- Facilities: Exhibition; toilets; car / coach park; indoor & outdoor picnic areas; and, self-guiding trails.
- Opening Months: The Visitor Centre is open Mid-March-Mid-October. The National Park is open all year.
Connemara National Park
Connemara Galway - Ireland WestConnemara National Park is situated in the heart of the West of Ireland near Letterfrack, and covers some 2,000 hectares of scenic mountains, expanses of bogs, heaths and grasslands. Some of the Park's mountains are part of the famous Twelve Bens range. Attractions include exhibitions, nature trails, red deer, Connemara ponies, and an audio visual show. In addition, there is a summer programme of walks and special events for younger visitors.
