Established in 1986, English in Dublin has grown to become a highly reputable Educational Institution, providing English language courses, business courses, marketing courses and computer courses. English in Dublin is located at 54 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, right in the heart of the Central Business District of the city. An area steeped in history, it contains the very best of Dublin’s 18th Century Georgian architecture. Merrion Square boasts the previous dwellings of famous Irish writers, such as Oscar Wilde and W.B. Yeats. The building overlooks Merrion Square Park. Students can take a stroll through the park during break times to get a breath of fresh air and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This interesting park has many trees, sculptures and plaques, and pays tribute to many famous people, including Michael Collins, Nelson Mandela and Oscar Wilde.
