Local craftspeople based in the surrounds of Lough Derg have come together to create a brochure illustrating their extensive skills and detailing the wealth of leisure activities and restaurants available in the region. Stretching along the western shore of Lough Derg from Portumna in the north through boglands to Killaloe, then westwards to the traditional music centre of Feakle, and on to Mountshannon and Tuamgraney, this region with it’s numerous rivers and lakes, surrounded by rolling hills has the perfect mix of attractions and entertainments that one would expect from an Irish holiday.
