This is a scenic 150km drive along the Shannon estuary. The route begins and ends in Limerick City and passes through a number of towns such as Cratloe, Bunratty, Ennis, Kildysert, Killimer, Tarbet, Foynes and Askeaton. It is recommended to take The Killimer to Tarbert ferry along the way as this is a valuable time saver.
