A nice easy stroll beside the seaside, the Raven Point Loop leads you alongside sand dunes and around the edge of the Raven Nature Reserve, which conserves the unique and delicate flora and fauna of this area, including red squirrels. You can enjoy views over Wexford Harbour and, at the tip of the point, watch out for seals basking on the sandbanks. You’ll then reach Curracloe Beach, which doubled as Omaha beach in the film ‘Saving Private Ryan’. Walk barefoot along the golden sands for your return journey.
