Coleraine Londonderry - Northern Ireland

The Championship Mussenden links is a par 73 with five par-fives, four par-threes, and nine par-fours. The best-known hole is the fourth, called the Leg o'Mutton, a 200-yard par-three with a railway line to the right, a burn to the left and a raised green. Over the past hundred years the Club has played frequent host to the country's National Championships both Amateur and Professional and, in 2000, Castlerock played host to the World Student Games. The Irish PGA Championships were staged here in 2001, which was the Club’s Centenary Year. During 1979 and 1981, Ryder Cup team member Des Smyth was victorious by one shot over 2002/06 Ryder Cup player Paul McGinley.
