Lissadell —County Sligo
Lissadell located North of Sligo town, is better known for being home to Lissadell House and originally the Gore Booth family home from 1834 - 2003. The house is surrounded by over 400 acres of land including lovely areas to have a picnic, a beach and plenty of woodland.
A new family have now taken over Lissadell House Edward Walsh and his wife Constance Cassidy, it is open to the public Tuesday - Sunday click here for more details.
Lissadell House is definitely worth a visit when on a trip to Sligo.
