Cloughjordan —County North Tipperary

Located close to the River Shannon and Lough Derg, Cloughjordan is home to Charlie Swan's Equestrian Centre. Charlie Swan is a multiple National Hunt Champion jockey. Cloughjordan is the birthplace of Thomas Mac Donagh, poet and patriot who born in 1878 who was one of the signatories of the 1916 Proclamation. He was executed in 1916 and the local library bears his name. There are three churches in Cloughjordan eg: St. Michael?s Catholic Church, 1898, St. Kiernan?s Church of Ireland Church, 1830, and the Methodist Church. Adjacent to the village is an impressive GAA park and grounds.
