50th Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queens
19 October - 3 November 2012
Judge a person by their friends but judge a festival by its previous line-ups. If the Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen’s were a person, he/she would be one cool cat. Over the years this tune-fest has attracted such guests as Elvis Costello, Ennio Morricone and Laurence Olivier. Even the original wild-child Jimi Hendrix made an appearance many moons ago. With a legacy like that, our hunch is that those visiting for the festival’s 50th anniversary may very well be of the stellar variety.
And did we mention that the festival lists art, theatre and cinema among its many other tricks? Well, it does.
