Dublin by Book

There’s nothing like getting wrapped up in a good book, just getting lost in all of the drama, the intrigue, the romance. There are times when we’re so desperate to find out what happens at the end that we even flip to the last page. Dublin is a little like a good book. Think of the characters – Phoenix Park is the brooding and handsome leading man with a secret and the daintily blooming Merrion Square our strong and passionate heroine.

Now, wouldn’t it be wonderful to put yourself right in the middle of the story and see Dublin? And wouldn’t it be nice if you could follow in the footsteps of your favourite authors and characters and see Dublin as they do? Well with the help of a little of poetic licence we’ve taken four trips around Dublin in the way that some of our literary heroes might have done.

Delve right into the story of Dublin, perhaps walking the city streets with our own special tribute to our literary heroes, past and present: Patrick Kavanagh, Roddy Doyle, Jonathan Swift, Brendan Behan, Sean O’Casey, Marian Keyes, Cecilia Ahern and many, many others!
