Description
Cushendall Antrim - Northern IrelandUse ‘The Burn’ as your base for touring the Antrim Coast which includes the spectacular Torr Head and Murlough Bay scenic drive, Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and many hidden gems like Kenbane Castle just outside Ballycastle. Alternatively, spend a day exploring the fabulous hill walking country that surrounds us – returning to the turf fire for the total stress-free experience (we are beside the Ulster/Moyle Way).
We are just outside the village of Cushendall where quietness and peaceful surroundings are the norm, enjoy our secluded garden with its own waterfall and small river where you can enjoy watching our ducks while away their day, you may even collect your own eggs for breakfast.
The Burn is situated just 2 kms from the village of Cushendall on the B 14. We are one hour from Belfast, one hour from the International Airport and one hour from the George Best City Airport. The Giant's Causeway is also one hour. We are a four minute drive from the village of Cushendall or enjoy the lovely walk which will take you twenty minutes - take the 'chapel-pad' as a nice little short-cut to the village.
Local attractions nearby include: walks around the village including The Cliff Path leading to Layde Church, Glenariffe Forest Park, Glenarm Castle walled garden and house, golf course - 5 mins, horse riding (20 mins), fishing, boating trips to Rathlin Island which we can book for you, traditional pubs (music at the weekends), choice of restaurants, The Glens Hotel in Cushendall.
