Description
Newry Down - Northern IrelandPlease also see our 1 & 3 Bedroom cottages (3*) and 5* Houses
Roosley cottage is a bright 2-storey self-catering cottage, located on the premises of Rostrevor Holidays, in Rostrevor, County Down. The sun shines in through the living room sliding doors in the morning, and the view from the upstairs bedroom is across to the Mourne Mountains.
This light and clean cottage with 2 bedrooms can sleep 4/5 people. The upstairs bedroom has a double and a single bed, whilst the downstairs bedroom has the option of being a twin or a single room. We can provide cots and highchairs if needed. The combined kitchen/dining/living area has sliding doors that open on to the patio if you wish to take your breakfast outside. There is a downstairs WC, and a shower room upstairs. The house has oil-fired central heating, with a laundry room on-site.
On site, there is also plenty to do. We have a children’s playground, and the tennis court is always popular for those wanting to show off their competitive side. For somewhere to get away for a picnic or to get closer to nature, we have a 2km riverside/farm trail. This brings you right around the farm on which Rostrevor Holidays is situated, and runs along the Yellow Water River.
If you are looking to explore Ireland, Rostrevor is the perfect place to base yourself. Belfast can be reached within an hour, whilst Dublin is only 90 minutes away. We will be happy to help you with your travel plans. The local area is brimming with places to see and discover, from the colours of the trees in Kilbroney Forest Park through to the magnificent views from Clough Mor. If you are looking to do some shopping, the local town of Newry is rarely out of the news these days as a great place to go, whilst The Outlet in Banbridge offers big savings on well-known brands.
