Description

Enniskillen Fermanagh - Northern Ireland

Rossahilly House & Barn is the perfect venue for celebrating a family milestone or wedding anniversary in a beautiful and relaxing environment.

Located on the banks of Lower Lough Erne, Rossahilly is a niche venue affording the best of an Irish Country House with modern amenities.

Your anticipation is assured on your final approach, where you are presented with the most stunning view stretching across Trory Bay and encompassing Lough Erne’s mystical islands, a UNESCO Global Geopark and Nick Faldo’s Championship golf course.

Greeted by your host to ensure you settle in comfortably before leaving you to your adventure of discovery in this most beautiful of private homes. The Hall, lit up by gleaming chandeliers is decorated with pictures of the local landscape.

Built in the 1920’s, the house sits majestically on a gentle hill, rolling down to the waters edge with sheep and cows happily munching away in the nearby field.

Why not arrange for a private dinner in the candle lit dining room which boasts a roaring log fire with a beautiful surround originating from The Titanic’s sister ship, RMS Olympic, built in Belfast’s Harland & Wolff shipyard. The private dining option at Rossahilly House is a favourite amongst many of Ireland’s corporate elite who regularly entertain their clients here.

With over 6,000 sq ft of accommodation and nine individual en-suite bedrooms, the House is much larger than many expect. Providing all the modern amenities one would wish for whilst retaining the original features expected from such a magnificent country house. The bedrooms have ample room, comfortable beds and wonderful bathrooms, two of which contain Jacuzzi baths.

Wake to the sight of cows grazing on the meadow, gently rolling down to the Lough shore. The sun presenting the most ethereal blue waters on Lough Erne. All six front bedrooms have Lough views with the remainder overlooking the colourful rose garden. Rossahilly House also contains a kitchen garden which guests are welcome to use. Rossahilly never ceases to deliver pleasant suprises throughout your stay, not least the succulent fruits of the Rossahilly vines.

Play golf on the many Championship courses, or spend the day fishing with a personal ghillie. Alternatively, relax in the conservatory watching the boats sail by or go horse riding on the Lough shore.

On your return, you may see a sea-plane or helicopter. Why not enjoy a scenic flight or flying lesson during your stay.

Regale your tall fishing & golfing tales over pre-dinner drinks in the living room. Have dinner in the conservatory & enjoy unparalleled views of the setting sun over the water. Breathtaking!

Why not arrange for a number of your closest friends to celebrate with you over a magnificent Hog Roast in Rossahilly’s converted barn, which displays the most amazing landscape images. Emblazoned with wrought iron chandeliers hanging from the exposed beams, this is one of Fermanagh’s most enchanting reception venues. Rossahilly has also become one of Northern Ireland’s most sought after venues for intimate and individual wedding receptions.
