Nestled in a unique site in the heart of the spectacular Boyne Valley, Abhainn Lodge provides superbly appointed accommodation for eight or more people in luxurious and very private surroundings in County Meath. Set in grounds of 7 hectares, the house has access by electric gates and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland, with private walks leading down to the banks of the River Boyne. It has the benefit of private fishing in idyllic surroundings. The magnificent three-storey house has five ensuite bedrooms and many outstanding features, including a spacious, open-plan kitchen and dining area. There is a family room with Inglenook and log burning stove, which leads out to a large decked area with barbecue and hot tub. There is also a large formal reception room with marble fireplace. Seasonal vegetables are available from the organic garden and greenhouse, and in-house cuisine with local produce can be arranged upon request. The area surrounding Abhainn Lodge is steeped in history; the UNESCO World Heritage site of Brú na Boinne at Newgrange, the Neolithic sites of Knowth and Dowth, Loughcrew Cairns and much more are nearby. For golfing enthusiasts, Abhainn Lodge is within a short drive of many famous courses, including Headfort, Kileen, Black Bush and Royal Tara golf clubs. Located only 2 km. from the bustling market town of Navan which has excellent shopping facilities with all the major retailers as well as an abundance of locally based businesses,excellent dining facilities with many fine restaurants and takeaways which will deliver to your door.
