Belmullet Mayo - Ireland WestBarnagh House is a family-run business situated just 10km outside of Belmullet on the Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo. In addition to offering a bed and breakfast, it has a three-bedroom self-catering cottage just two minutes away. The cottage boasts a cosy living room with open fire, ample seating and TV. The kitchen and dining area have all required facilities, including a washing machine, dishwasher and table for six. There are many local attractions on the Mullet Peninsula, including the ruins of the successor of St Deirbhile's 6th-century church and those of Cross Abbey, a small medieval church the foundation of which is attributed to St Brendan. There are other remains of fascinating forts in the area. Travellers can also take in amazing views of the cliffs of Achill and the uninhabited islands of Duvillan More, Inishkea and Inishglora. Popular activities include fishing, sailing, diving, surfing, walking, cycling and horse riding.
