A property of Trident Holiday Homes, Sheep’s Head Holiday Homes are set in Durrus, County Cork. The charming development has a pleasant little stream running at its edge and is less than 100m from the village’s shops and pubs serving food. They are within easy reach of the scenic Mizen Head and Sheep’s Head Peninsula. Each of the homes has a living room with gas fire and double doors that lead to the open-plan dining/kitchen area. There are also French doors that open out onto a patio area with outdoor furniture. The first floor contains one double ensuite bedroom, a twin-bedded room, and a single bedroom. The main bathroom has a shower over bath. While staying at Sheep’s Head Holiday Homes, guests can visit the port town of Bantry, less than a 15-minute drive from the development. The town boasts a number of craft shops, galleries, restaurants and traditional pubs together with a seafront promenade overlooking the bay. During the summer months, there are regular boat trips from the harbour that take visitors out to the bay’s three main islands: Bere Island, Whiddy Island and Garnish Island, also known as Ilnacullin. This island is internationally renowned for its wide selection of plants and Italian gardens. Boats also go to the lovely Sherkin Island which has three sandy beaches and bicycle hire available.
