Located on the renowned Castle Leslie Estate in Gaslough, County Monaghan, these superb self-catering cottages are ideal for anyone desiring a bit of independence combined with all the offerings of the stunning, 400-hectare estate, which over the years has welcomed everyone from politicians to poets. The Village Cottages were built in 2006 around a village square and green. These four- and five-bedroom self-catering cottages are charming and timeless. Classically proportioned and boasting nine-foot ceilings, each cottage is beautifully and individually decorated. Each caters for up to eight to 10 people, and includes a spacious living area with open fire, TV, DVD and stereo music player. While staying at the Village Cottages, guests will find themselves conveniently located close to the equestrian centre, cookery school and Victorian spa facilities. And if they tire of their own cooking, guests are welcome at Conor’s Bar or the award-winning Snaffles Restaurant.
