The self-catering at 10 Beachview is set in Duncannon, County Wexford and offers magnificent views of Duncannon Beach and Waterford Harbour down to Hook Head. Built in 2005, this property has a double bedroom with ensuite downstairs, while the upstairs has a bathroom and two bedrooms with two singles in each. There is complimentary Internet access available. The outstanding feature of 10 Beachview is the fantastic view of the beach and entrance to Waterford Harbour from Hook Head. There is always something going on: a ship going in or out, children playing on the beach, kite surfing, or just the moving tide. At night Hook Lighthouse flashes across the house every 20 seconds or so. Beachview is located just 300m from the beach, shops and restaurants, and 500m from the fort and harbour. Both Waterford and Wexford are within reach. There is fishing on all the beaches in the area and off all the local piers. Lug bait can be dug on Duncannon Beach. Good mackerel fishing is available at Slade harbour in August and September. For shopping, guests can visit Waterford, Wexford and New Ross. Other attractions in the area include JFK Park, about 11km away, and the historic sites of Duncannon Fort, Hook Lighthouse, Dunbrody Abbey and Tintern Abbey.
