Set in the village of Carracastle, County Mayo, Rockview House is a beautiful holiday home filled with old world charm. It sits on its own spacious grounds and is close to a church, shops, post office, community centre and public houses. Rockview House cottage is 200 years old, yet has been newly renovated to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. The house can accommodate six to seven people and has all modern facilities. It has one ensuite bedroom and hand basins in the others. All linen and towels are supplied, and a children’s cot and high chair are available. Additionally, the house is accessible to the disabled and has a bathroom with shower/bath. At Rockview House, visitors will find all the facilities required during their stay, including a log fire stove, TV, video, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, and shed available for storing fishing gear and other equipment. There is also a lovely picnic area with swings. Pets are welcome at Rockview House. In and around Carracastle, guests can experience excellent golfing, fishing, walking and cycling. There are also a number of fascinating archaeological and historical sites in the area, including the Ceide Fields, Knock Shrine and Croagh Patrick.
