The Brambles Farm Cottage is a 200 year old authentic traditional style farmhouse, offering self catering accommodation with all modern conveniences. It is situated near the village of Farranfore, in Killarney County Kerry. This little cottage is steeped in history, it has been through the famine to the war of independence and is one of the few genuine examples of its type left in the country. This authentic property consists of four bedrooms, a kitchen and living room; and is set on a working farm. Guests can collect fresh eggs for breakfast and even feed and play with the small animals. The cottage is a short drive from Farranfore, which is an excellent base for touring County Kerry and is also the location of the regional airport. Killarney town, one of Ireland's most famous holiday destinations, is only 14km away. Here you can take in the magnificent scenery of the McGillycuddy Reeks, visit Killarney National Park and the town's magical lakes. You can play a round of golf at one of Killarney's famous championship golf courses or choose one of the excellent fishing spots to test your angling skills.
