Shannon Breeze Cottage is an award winning three star, self catering, traditional style cottage on a small working farm, in Portumna County Galway. There is an open plan kitchen/living area with open fire place and Liscannor stone floor. The cottage sleeps four guests in one double bedroom downstairs and an attic bedroom twin upstairs. There is a bathroom with shower upstairs. The cottage also boasts and outdoor barbeque area. There is a laundrette and dryer on the grounds and linen is supplied. There is an extra charge for towels. This is family friendly cottage with an enclosed garden and within walking distance of the River Shannon on quiet country roads and lane ways. The property is close to the Hymany Way for walking and bicycle rental can also be organised. Local amenities include a forest park, Portumna Castle and Gardens, Portumna Workhouse, golfing, fishing, horse riding, go-carting and walking. this cottage is an ideal location for touring the Burren region, Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle and Lough Derg.
