The Farm Cottages holiday accommodation is situated in a haven of beauty and tranquillity, where the pace of life is a little bit slower. The three cottages are located on a working farm near the charming village of Castletownroche, which offers a choice of pubs and a restaurant. Guests are welcome to take in the sights and sounds of the farm with free tours during their visit. On arrival, guests of The Farm Cottages are greeted with a tea tray and home baking, as well as a starter supply of coal and logs. Sand is a three-bedroom, disabled friendly cottage that is decorated in a modern style with brightly coloured walls and fabrics. The living area of this cottage is open plan, with the open fire as the focal point in the winter. For summertime visitors, the French doors open to the gardens and offer panoramic views of the Nagle Mountains and Blackwater Valley. The property also includes a children’s playground, tennis court, barbecue and conservatory/games room with pool table. During their stay, visitors can enjoy golfing, clay pigeon shooting, wake boarding, mountain biking, horse riding, angling and much more. The Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Centre is just 15 minutes away from the cottages. The Farm Cottages were winners of the Rural Tourism Awards in 2000. Paypal accepted.
