Sixmilebridge Clare - Ireland WestSituated on a private 15-hectare estate with a lake, Mount Cashel self catering is centrally located near Sixmilebridge, County Clare. There are two 18th-century lakeside lodges that have been beautifully restored and awarded a four-star rating. Each features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can sleep up to five people. There is a lovely living/kitchen area with a wood burning stove, three-piece suite, satellite TV and Internet connection. French doors open out onto a private patio, lawn and woods with views and direct access to Castle Lake. The kitchen is also fully equipped for guests' convenience. Mount Cashel is an idyllic retreat where one can enjoy many activities, such as fishing, boating and sailing. Pike, bream and perch are common species of fish caught. The wooded area provides pleasant walks and numerous opportunities for exploring and bird watching. Meanwhile, further afield guests can find golf courses, cycling routes, equestrian centres, shops, restaurants and nightlife venues. Mount Cashel is also close to Bunratty, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Shannon Airport is only 20 minutes away.
