County Mayo is also home to the natural beauty of Achill Island, easily accessible by car from the B&B. For those travelling a little further afield, the Connemara region would make a wonderful day trip with its rugged and verdant landscape. Visitors to Brooklodge B&B would also be in a position to travel to the lovely town of Clifden in County Galway, home to the picturesque and beautiful, Kylemore Abbey.
