Description

Ballywarren House is the delightfully charming and romantic country home of David and Diane Skelton. It is set in six acres of stone walled, sheep farming land and has large gardens for guests to enjoy. The welcoming hall has an open peat fire with hob great and comfy leather Chesterfield, where you can collapse with your luggage before climbing the oak staircase to one of the lovely bedrooms. Only tow rooms are let at a time and one has a gorgeous English Oak four poster bed. The en suite bathrooms have bath, shower, bidet, w.c and wash hand basin as well as thick white towels, flannels,cotton buds, cotton wool balls, soaps etc. In the bedrooms there are magazines, playing cards, sherry and chocolates as well as TV. And free WiFi. There is also free laundry service and room service. The beds are all king size and have fine Egyptian cotton bedding. In summer breakfast is served in The Garden Room at Italian marble tables, or if you prefer in the dining room at the large oak table,which we also use in the winter. We cook with the very best ingredients that we can source, local where ever possible, both at breakfast and dinner and make all our own bread, cakes, ice creams, marmalade etc. when you have dinner with us, which is a set meal, we give unlimited free wine, coffee and chocolates.
