A warm and friendly welcome awaits visitors to Breezy Heights B&B, a pleasant country home set amid rich landscape just outside the village of Cross, in County Mayo. Offering incredible views of nearby Lough Corrib and the Twelve Bens mountain range, this B&B features light, spacious ensuite guestrooms with TV, complimentary WiFi Internet access, and hairdryers. A private car park, landscaped gardens and tea and/or coffee making facilities are available for guest use. Guests can enjoy daily home baking in the comfort of the home’s roomy dining lounge. Breezy Heights B&B is a gateway to some of the area’s most breathtaking scenery and attractions. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls and guided horse riding tours around the county, or pass the time in the nearby village of Cong, noted site of the movie “The Quiet Man” and home to the Quiet Man Cottage Museum and Ashford Castle, a Medieval castle turned five-star luxury hotel. Discerning anglers can try their luck on the area’s great western loughs, Corrib, Mask and Carra, while golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 18 hole course at Ballinrobe Golf Club. Guests are encouraged to take a scenic drive through the Connemara region and along the Mayo coastline to take in the area’s many striking sites. A genuine walker's paradise, the B&B offers close access to a number of walking trails in and around the forests and hills surrounding the property. In addition, it is also a short distance from several of the area’s most spectacular locales, including Croagh Patrick, a mountain housing one of Ireland’s oldest religious sites. The Céide Fields, Clare Island, and Westport House are in the area.
