The cozy accommodation consists of a lounge with an open fireplace and three ensuite guestrooms. While Rockfield House B&B is only fifteen minutes away from the bohemian charm of Galway City it also enjoys a rural setting with a backdrop of Newtown Hill, which assures a relaxing holiday. Lakes and hills surround Moycullen, giving prime material for artists, photographers, and walkers, including the 44,000-acre Lough Corrib, which borders the area to the east. Renowned trout fishing at the lake is only a ten-minute drive from Rockfield House while horse riding is also popular in the area, with riding lessons and pony trekking are available just a short ten-minute drive from Rockfield House.
