For those seeking beachside self-catering accommodation in West Cork, Inchydoney Island Apartments are a great option. Located adjacent to the four star Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa and just a short drive from Clonakilty, each apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom while the second has twin beds. The sofa in the lounge converts to a third bed also. Bed linen and towels are supplied and apartment guests can enjoy full use of the hotel facilities including the heated seawater therapy pool, sauna, hammam, gym and relaxation areas. Younger guests can also pay a visit to the Children’s Lounge which is the perfect place to play or watch a DVD and older children can make the most of the Snooker Room which is open daily. Other activities on offer nearby include surfing, walking, kayaking, golf and whale watching. Nearby Clonakilty is also well worth a visit. It is famous for its old pubs, excellent restaurants and farmers’ market. Or guests can just kick back and relax on the private balcony or terrace which is attached to the lounge area of the apartment. Views look out over the two blue flag beaches and the ocean.
