The Horse and Jockey Hotel is a family run four star hotel located in the heartland of County Tipperary mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin. The hotel, which gave the village it’s name, is steeped in history and has been continuously trading for 250 years. It stands at one of the great traditional crossroads of Ireland, only an hour and a half from all major cities. The hotel comprises sixty seven luxurious bedrooms, offering a winning combination of comfort and style, with every modern convenience required by both the business and leisure traveller. The hotel has expanded over the years and is now home to Silks Restaurant, the Enclosure Bar, in-house bakery, coffee bar, a conference centre and theatre, Elemis Spa, Q Hair Salon, leisure centre and the gift Horse Gallery. Despite these extensions the hotel strives to balance the old with the new and create a homely and friendly Tipperary village atmosphere throughout.
