The Grove Guesthouse not only has the best location in Kilrush, County Clare, but also a proud history in Kilrush. Back at the turn of the century, 1900 to 1974, Dr Couihan and his family lived and worked in the building running a very successful doctors practice. When Dr Counihan's wife died he married his wife's sister from the Glynn family in Kilrush. If you stay in Room 1 in the Grove you are staying where many a surgical operation was carried out. There are eight rooms available in The Grove Guesthouse of which seven are ensuite. All rooms in the guesthouse are WiFi enabled. There is also a reading and television lounge available for lazy days or evenings. There are many activities and things to do around Kilrush. From the excitement of landing that big fish or riding that big wave on a surfboard or opting for quieter alternatives from kayaking or diving to leisurely walks Kilrush will definitely tick all the boxes.
