Tierneys Guesthouse have nine newly refurbished comfortable rooms, each with ensuite, TV, hairdryer, free wifi internet access, tea and coffee facilities. Famous for their variety of freshly cooked delicious home made breakfasts, served in the conservatory cafe. The cafe has it's own courtyard with outdoor seating and it also has it's own Irish craft shop. Tierney's and Kinsale are ideally suited for touring West Cork and the south coast of Ireland, in fact all of the south coast's main centres are within easy reach. On the doorstep is the town museum, the newly opened wine museum, Desmond Castle, Charles and James Forts as well as some of the most spectacular scenery with wonderful walks and award winning beaches. Outdoor activities suited to all ages and tastes are readily available and include the complete range of water sports, golf, horse riding, tennis, river and sea fishing. Kinsale has three golf courses, the most famous being The Old Head, now rated as one of the worlds top 10 courses. Tierneys are also ideally situated for golf tours with over 20 quality courses within two hours driving distance. They are happy to help and advise on booking tee times and arranging transport.
