Grays three star guesthouse on Achill Island, County Mayo, offers guests turf fires, table tennis room, croquet lawn and swings in an enclosed garden. The accommodation includes 14 comfortable bedrooms comprising double, twin, single and family rooms. Facilities in the rooms include ensuite, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. a dining room and a comfortable lounge/sitting room which provides a much loved social atmosphere for guests. Smaller lounges and sun lounges in the other houses provide quiet corners, while the guests’ garden with children’s swings is an attraction on warm summer evenings. Late dinner is served at 7pm. Achill Island itself is renowned for its rugged beauty, with quaint villages set in sweeping expanses of bog land, hill and mountain, the whole surrounded by cliffs, rocky foreshores and blue flag beaches; beyond these, the wide expanses of Clew and Blacksod bays and the wild Atlantic.
