Description
Redcross Wicklow - Ireland EastRiver Valley is a multi-award winning, family-run park found in the Garden of Ireland, County Wicklow. The park is surrounded by green hills in the quaint village of Redcross. In addition to welcoming motor homes, caravans and campers, the park offers self-catering and glamping accommodation. River Valley is within easy access of the ferry ports of Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare. In the vicinity there are many tourist attractions, like Wicklow National Park, Glendalough, the Vale of Avoca (Ballykissangel), the Meeting of the Waters, Brittas Bay, Avondale House, Mount Usher, Kilruddery and Powerscourt Gardens. At the park, all sites for caravans, motor homes and tents are level and spacious. There is a separate area for adult couples who wish to get away from noise, bikes and games. Meanwhile, families with children have a host of activities at their fingertips, such as crazy golf, pool tables and a playground. The park features a modern toilet and shower block, baby changing area, disabled toilets, laundry room and camper’s kitchen. Guests at River Valley can also experience wonderful food, drink and ambiance at Mickey Finns Pub and Restaurant, winner of the National Tourist pub award in 2010. Mickey Finns is a rustic pub with welcoming open fires. It serves home cooked pub grub and also offers fine dining. Guests can enjoy traditional Irish music and dancing in the summer months (June through September), with live music and sing along sessions every weekend.
