From Shannon Airport follow the N18 to Limerick, at junction 4 continue forward onto the N18 Toll (signposted Limerick east toll) Travel through the Limerick tunnel. Leave the N18 at junction 1and then join the M20 motorway (signposted Cork). At junction 5 continue onto the N21 (signposted Tralee/Killarney). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Limerick road N21 and continue forward entering Adare. The main entrance to the resort is on your left hand side as you drive over the bridge coming into Adare.

Adare Golf Club, situé sur le domaine d’Adare Manor, a été dessiné par Trent Jones Snr. Long de 6250m au départ des tees de championnat, ce golf est de style moderne, cheminant à travers un parc ancien magnifique. La composition du parcours comprend trois lacs, dont un de 5 hectares autour duquel sont dessinés quatre trous. Le moment crucial se passe au 18e trou. Un challenge superbe avec la rivière Maigue qui le longe entièrement, avant de séparer le green du fairway, créant une approche angoissante pour le score final, le tout devant la façade exquise de l’Adare Manor. Ce club a été et sera le cadre de l’Irish Open en 2007,2008 et 2009.
