Straddling the picture perfect landscapes of Limerick, Tipperary and Cork, Ballyhoura Country boasts undulating green pastures, lush woodlands and rolling hills, so it’s perfect for walkers of all abilities. Running over four days, walkers can join in the usual favourites, such as guided climbs on the Ballyhoura and Galty Mountains, and it also includes magical two night-time walks, with a focus on night navigation and identification of local moth species. Keep your eyes peeled for birds of prey, including the Hen Harriers and Peregrine Falcons.
