Monaghan Rhythm & Blues Festival has been on the go since 1991 with past performers including Duke Robillard, Walter Trout, Van Morrison, Smokin Joe Kubek, Tommy Castro, Gary Moore, Honeyboy Edwards, Watermelon Slim, Omar & the Howlers, Coco Montoya to name but a few! The festival consists of three days of world renowned blues artists from the USA and Europe including Ireland. Events include a late night marquee, showcasing top US acts performing from 10.30pm - 3am; the Market House hosting acoustic acts throughout the three days; and the 7 great blues venues in the pubs of Monaghan. In all over 40 blues gigs all for under €100...it don't get no better than this!
