Ward River Valley Park is spread over 89 hectares of woodland habitats, wetlands and rolling grassland, punctuated by archaeological remains. This is a linear park on the banks of the Ward River South of Swords town in Dublin City. Features of particular interest in the park include some 12th century fortifications and the remains of an Italian garden. There are numerous viewing points, picnic sites, a children's playground, playing pitches and tennis courts within the parks boundaries. Swords Town Park and Swords Castle are part of this park.
