"Enjoy 6 days of folk, roots and indie music with over 100 performances in a warm, relaxed and intimate environment. Past acts include The Buena Vista Social Club, Elvis Costello, KT Tunstall, Martha Wainwright, Imelda Maye, The Proclaimers, Josh Ritter, Bell X1, Dervish and The Saw Doctors. The weekend sees music under every conceivable roof in Sligo, cafes, pubs, hotels, clubs, shopping centres, theatres and anywhere a performance can squeezed. Includes concerts with top Irish and international acts, the best traditional musicians, emerging folk, indie and rock bands in clubs and cafes, the renowned Fiddler of Dooney Competition and late night multi-stage clubs. Other events are 'Under Bare Ben Bulben's Head', a spoken word programme from the land of Yeats; children's shows and workshops; and the madness of the World Air Fiddle Championships. Many events are free."
