Limerick is the Republic of Ireland’s third largest city and has a beautiful location on one of Ireland’s most picturesque rivers, the Shannon, County Limerick.

Conquered by the Vikings in the ninth century, this bustling modern city in the West of Ireland has a rich medieval past, which resounds around its ancient streets.
