Virginia Show is inviting you and your family, exhibitors and visitors from the four corners of Ireland and abroad to come to Virginia this August. Virginia will be alive with all the sights and sounds associated with early autumn, a day for everyone, the serious business of over 500 classes, 3.500 exhibits in bovine, equine and ovine, garden and farm produce, home industries with food markets, children's amusements, trade stands, demonstrations, music song and dance, live radio and the hustle and bustle of a great day out. There are a number of All Ireland Finals this year, and the cream of these will be the 30th Baileys Champion Cow Competition and interested parties are especially invited to come back to celebrate the longest running sponsored competition. The Show Society are also planning activities for The Gathering 2013. In an Ireland of increased awareness of food traceability, Virginia Show allows you to see the high standards of the Irish dairy, beef and sheep industries. Agriculture is one of the few sectors of the economy with growth and the show is an important agricultural event attracting leading national competitions and exhibitors from the 32 counties.
