The Allingham Arts Festival is designed as a four day event held on the second week of November. The festival aims to promote the artistic and literary history of William and Helen Allingham through competitions and workshops. For 2013 the intention is to have 'Ballyshannon, a Garrison town' as the festival's theme. This will celebrate the links with Finner Camp in Ballyshannon, together with its tremendous impact on the artistic and literary life of Ballyshannon. Dates to be confirmed.
