Féile Dún Garbháin - Dungarvan Trad Fest 2013 is a lively gathering of musicians, singers and dancers from 25 years of festivals performing in sessions, concerts and céilithe, in the traditional music heartland of the Déise and West Waterford. Dungarvan and West Waterford is renowned for traditional music, song dance and the Irish language. The area is associated with well-known traditional bands Danú and Caladh Nua, and also boasts the monthly Conneries Singing Club , the annual Cúil na Sméar concert series, the Millstreet sessions and the Local Bar concerts. The festival town of Dungarvan has a great reputation among traditional music followers and it's friendly bars and restaurants offer a unique experience in an old world atmosphere. Its stunning coastal location set in the shadow of the beautiful Comeragh Mountains invites walkers to explore the history and stories of this magical and historical landscape.
