Limerick County Council Arts Officer, Joan MacKernan, is organising a series of four concerts devoted to the music of Ludwig van BEETHOVEN at All Saints' Church in Castleconnell on the second Tuesday of each of the months September to December inclusive. All concerts start at 8.00pm and Admission is €15. Programme of Events: Tuesday 8th September 2009: Maria McGarry (piano) Beethoven - 'The Last Three Sonatas' No. 30 in E major, Op. 109 No. 31 in A flat major, Op. 110 No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111 Tuesday 13th October 2009: The Haydn Trio Eisenstadt (Vienna): Harald Kosik (piano), Verena Stourzh (violin), Hannes Gradwohl (cello). Haydn Trio in C major Hob XV/27 William Bolcom "Haydn Go Seek" (2009) - Dedicated2Haydn Beethoven Trio No 1, Op. 70 "Ghost" Beethoven Trio Op. 97 "Archduke" NB: This concert is presented in cooperation with Haydn Festival Eisenstadt / Haydn2009 with the kind support of the Austrian Embassy Dublin. The trio will be on a short tour doing mainly Haydn. Tuesday 10th November 2009: Catherine Leonard (violin), Hugh Tinney (piano) Beethoven Sonata in E flat major, Op. 12, No. 3 Beethoven Sonata in F, Op. 24 ('Spring') Deirdre McKay Variation on a theme of Hamilton Harty (2001) Beethoven Sonata in G major, Op. 96 Tuesday 8th December 2009: The Carducci Quartet Matthew Denton, Michelle Fleming (violins), Eoin Schmidt-Martin (viola), Emma Denton (cello).
