盖尔式足球是足球和橄榄球的激情组合，忠实的球迷总是会在现场制造出最热烈的气氛。
盖尔式足球拥有非常快速的节奏和相当忠实的球迷基础。
盖尔式足球使用的球也是圆形的，但比足球稍微小一些。运动员可以在四步范围内用手持球，和足球也有某些方面的相似之处。
