Kilcrohane —County Cork
Kilcrohane is located west south-west of Durrus as you head towards the end of the Sheep's Head peninsula. It takes its name from the Church of St. Crohan founded in the 8th century.
On the route down to Kilcrohane the road passes Ahakista which is the site for a Memorial to those who lost their lives off this coast in the Air India air crash in 1985.
