Dunquin —County Kerry
Dunquin (Dún Chaoin) is a small village situated in the Gaeltacht area west of Dingle. Clogher Head lies to the north and Dunmore Head to the south. Dunmore Head is the most westerly point on the mainland.
Dunquin is overlooked by Mount Eagle (516m/1,659ft) which rises to the north of Slea Head. This is the location of Ionad an Bhlascaoid Mhóir - The Blasket Centre, which tells the story of the Blasket Islands. Boat trips to the Blaskets are available from Dunquin pier.
