Malone si trova in un bellissimo parco alberato di 270 acri, con al centro un suggestivo lago naturale di 22 acri. Ha ospitato una serie di eventi internazionali tra cui Irish Amateur Close Championship nel 1984 e l’ Irish Senior Masters nel 1994, vinto da Tommy Horton. Tony Jacklin qui vinse il suo primo torneo professionisti nel 1966. Misura 6,642 iarde ed e’ considerato relativamente corto rispetto ai moderni standard. Ma, nonostante non sia lunghissimo, e’ sempre entusiasmante e pone una costante enfasi sull’accuratezza. Caratterizzato da aiuole fiorite, fairway allineati e un grande lago, che domina le ultime 9 buche, Malone non smettera’ mai di emozionare.
