La città di Belfast nella contea di Antrim si trova in una posizione privilegiata, chiusa tra mare e montagne. Capitale dell’ Irlanda del Nord, ha chiuso definitivamente un recente passato di tumulti e disordini ed è oggi una metropoli fiorente e assolutamente sicura, tra le più amate dai turisti di tutto il mondo.

All’ombra delle sue architetture vittoriane c’è molto da fare e da vedere. Puoi visitare i cantieri dove fu costruito il Titanic, per esempio. Oppure ammirare i più bei monumenti della città, come l’imponente City Hall e la Queen’s University. O puoi dedicarti allo shopping sfrenato: il centro è una sgargiante passerella di boutique e negozi alla moda. 

Belfast oggi fa tendenza anche per quanto riguarda gli alberghi. Sono rinomati lo stile e le atmosfere dei suoi hotel di design. Per non parlare dei templi del gusto: la città ha rapidamente scalato la classifica delle destinazioni più golose d’Europa. 

I pub di Belfast non seducono solo il palato con cucina tradizionale e ottima birra, ma anche l’anima con atmosfere uniche e avvolgenti. Che fanno scordare l’orologio…
