The Island Golf Club
Dieser anspruchsvolle Links-Golfplatz wurde 1890 gegründet und liegt nur 15 Minuten vom Dublin Airport entfernt. Er liegt auf der anderen Seite der Mündung des malerischen Fischerdorfs Malahide und war bis in die 1970er Jahre nur per Boot erreichbar. Er ist einzigartig gelegen, von drei Seiten von Meer umgeben und von eindrucksvollen Sanddünen, die in den Frühlings- und Sommermonaten von Wildblumen übersät sind. Der Platz ist wirklich ein Fest für alle Sinne und für alle, die nach einer sportlichen Herausforderung suchen.
Directions :
Follow signs for the M1north then leave at the Donabate exit. At the roundabout take the third exit and take the second exit at the next roundabout. Pass Newbridge House on your left, take the second right turn and follow the road around you will see the club on the right hand side.
