In der geschichtsträchtigen Grafschaft Armagh in Nordirland liegen einige von Irlands interessantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Armagh, die alte Hauptstadt von Ulster, wird auch Stadt des heiligen Patrick genannt und ist der Geburtsort von Brian Boru wie auch das kirchliche Zentrum Irlands.   

Das heutige Armagh bietet Besuchern jede Menge reizvoller Ziele – angefangen von historischen Stätten bis zu quirligen Pubs. Und kaum haben Sie die Stadt verlassen, stehen Sie mitten im Obstgarten Nordirlands – ein bezaubernder Anblick mit den endlosen Feldern voller Apfelbäumen, die in den zartesten Rosatönen blühen.   

County Armagh steht auch für eine ganze Reihe vom National Trust verwalteter Besitztümer: Herrenhäuser, Museen, Landschaftsparks, spezielle Attraktionen für Kinder und viele kulturelle Ereignisse erwarten Sie.
